Joe Freshgoods is part of the collaborative vanguard that ushered in New Balance’s uptick of popularity in the early 2020s. That partnership was kicked off with the 992, a model that JFG and NB have revisited for the five-year anniversary that’s ‘Aged Well’. The plush pig suede and technical mesh construction of the 992 is retained for a familiar palette of pinks and salmons, which resembles a tastefully faded and aged version of the debut collaboration from 2020.

Elsewhere, the premium hallmarks of the pinnacle Made in USA 992 remain: multi-tone ABZORB SBS cushioning inserts throughout the midsole, tonal reflective branding and long-lasting Ndurance outsoles. Being a special makeup for a collaborative partner, this pair also receives custom wordmarks via the JFG on the heels and tongue, replacing the usual USA and 992 spots respectively. The insoles also see custom Joe Freshgoods graphics to round out the execution.
